Cooper Bromley stars in the US !

Year 11 student (2017) Cooper Bromley has had a number of big achievements in BMX racing in recent years but one of his biggest opportunities has seen Cooper compete overseas in the US. Cooper travelled to America where he competed in a semi-final race finishing sixth.

Prior to heading overseas Cooper was crowned Victorian State Elite Champion. Next year Cooper will be completing his Year 12 VCE before hopefully gaining US sponsorship to continue his BMX riding over in America.

Excellent work Cooper, teachers and students at Shepparton High School are very proud of your achievements both on the track and in the classroom.

Farewell Fordey!

Wednesday 13 December marked the final day of a number of significant teachers at Shepparton High School which included one of our Health & PE teachers Mr John Forde.

Fordey started at Shepparton High School during Term 4 of 2015 as a student teacher before successfully being appointed as a classroom teacher in 2016. During his two years at Shepparton High School he has been dedicated in providing opportunities to increase the activity levels of students by opening up the school gym almost every morning at 7am. Many students at school remark how Fordey has been able to develop an excellent rapport with students and staff.

He is excellent for a laugh but also a vital person to ask for advice and guidance for all.

The Health & PE Domain and the wider school community wish John Forde all the best with his future teaching career at St Augustine (Kyabram), this also allows him to spend greater amounts of time with his young family.

Good luck Fordey!
