Physical Vibe
Over the last 4 weeks it has been great to see so many students engage in the Physical Vibe lessons from home.
- Week 7 saw the whole school focus on the Paralympic values of determination, equality, inspiration and courage.
- Week 8 we celebrated Indigenous Literacy Day by incorporating the Yulunga Traditional games into our lesson.
- Week 9 we played a variety of Target Games to showcase our ability to throw at both stationary and moving targets.

Virtual Footy Day
On Wednesday 15th September the whole school celebrated Virtual Footy day. It was great to see so many different teams being represented.
Lots of students also took part in the A.F.L Victoria's online clinics where they got to complete a variety of fun activities.

School Sport Victoria interview with Brendon Smith
During remote learning SSV has hosted numerous Q & A sessions. The latest was with Olympic bronze medallist swimmer Brendon Smith. We had three students ask their questions live. Jesse asked - Why did you pick the individual medley over just one stroke? Arizona asked - How did you keep motivated with your swimming? Lara asked - How did you feel and react when you qualified for the Australian Olympic Team? Opportunities like this allow our students to interact with athletes that inspire them.

Well done to everyone who uploaded a photo of their 'Footy Player Finger Puppets!' They looked amazing and so creative. It was a bonus watching the puppets come to life and play a footy match! I loved watching all of your role-plays. There was no tackling which was nice!
