Principal News

What does this mean?

  • Leaves begin to grow on the trees
  • Some trees may blossom
  • Day time starts to get longer
  • Fresh buds bloom
  • Animals awaken
  • Farmers and gardeners plant their seeds
  • The earth seems to come to life again
  • Temperatures slowly rise

Spring also may mean 'Spring cleaning'; cleaning out a cupboard, sorting out the garage, recycling materials and donating clothing.

We may still be restricted in what we can do or where we can go, but it does not restrict our positive approach.

I hope that your Term 3 break provides you with a new spring in your step and more sunshine in your smile.

We may not be out of the COVID lockdown yet, but there are a number of fabulous online holiday activities that the children can become involved with.  Please refer to the Parent and Community News page for more information.

Child Safe:  Talking to your child about COVID-19

Don’t be afraid to discuss COVID-19 with your children.  Most children will have already heard about coronavirus. Parents and carers should take the opportunity to talk to them about the current situation.

Honest and regular communication is key. Not talking about something can make children worry more.

Children often rely on their friends and social media for the news. Parents and carers can help by positioning themselves as a trusted source for information and as a person who can help children with their questions.

Enrolment Intentions 2022 Survey

We are now in the planning stages of the 2022 school year, and as such we are seeking information regarding any changes that may be happening for families in 2022.

Please complete the Enrolment Preparations survey if:

  • you have a child/ren commencing in 2022 (all year levels, including Foundation)
  • your child/ren are leaving CSPS to enrol elsewhere

NOTE: you do not need to complete this form for Year 6 children moving to secondary school or for CSPS students progressing to their next year level.
