Athletics Carnival

Due to the recent COVID-19 guidelines specifically related to school sporting events, we are unable to have spectators or parent helpers for our upcoming Athletics Carnival.

 

We understand that this can be disappointing and upsetting to not be able to watch your child/ren participate. However, children will have the opportunity to compete whereas last year many students, in many sports, were deprived of this opportunity. 

 

This year, High Jump will be held on Monday 26 July and Shot Put and Discus on Wednesday 28 July at the school. The running events and Long Jump will be held at Cook Oval on Thursday 29 July, starting from 9:30 am sharp.

 

Minors (5, 6, 7-year-olds) will be competing in the 50m, 100m, Relay, High Jump and Long Jump. Juniors/Seniors (8, 9, 10, 11, 12-year-olds) will be competing in 100m, 200m, 800m, Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put and Discus.

 

Please note that canteen facilities will not be available on the day.

Lake Keepit Excursion

We will be holding our Parent Information Night in the Stage 2 classroom on Wednesday 11 August. All parents are encouraged to attend.

ADPSC Gala Day postponed

Please note that the ADPSC Gala Day, planned for Friday 3 September has been postponed.

 

It has been rescheduled for Friday 29 October (Term 4).
