Learning in the Spotlight

Welcome back to Term 3, it has been a full and productive start to the term for both our students and staff. It has been wonderful to see, hear and feel calm classrooms during Learning Walks and Talks.

Our students have shown that they understand and value our school ‘Rules for Living’:

I am safe ( and here is how I am kept safe and keep others safe)

I am valued, respected and cared for ( and here is how I am valued, respected and cared for, and how I value, respect and care for others)

I am a learner ( and here is how I support my learning, the learning of others and the work of my teacher and other adults)

As a school staff, we have also maintained our focus on student growth and achievement in learning, with our improvement strategies having a positive impact. We have been actively collecting student data in literacy and working collaboratively to establish future reading goals.

This data collection will continue over the coming weeks as our Infant and Primary teachers complete PM Benchmark reading analysis.

#whatareyoulearning

This week in Kindergarten, we celebrated 100 days of learning!

The students looked fabulous dressed as '100 year-olds' and enjoyed the day playing a range of old-fashioned games.
