KHS Wellbeing Team

Wellbeing Team

At Kempsey High School we recognise the well-being of every student as a whole school responsibility. All school staff (including teachers, girls and year advisors, the Clontarf Team and Aboriginal Education Officer and student learning support officers) offer support to your family members.

Kempsey HS has a commitment to your student’s wellbeing that supports them so they can engage, succeed and grow as an individual at each stage of their development and learning.

Almost every day students look for or need assistance to help them manage the various challenges of their lives. Our specialist staff are available to help improve the mental health, wellbeing and resilience of your children. Through the collaboration between education, health and other services we help students to achieve improved mental health.

The Wellbeing Team is made up of Deputy Principals Jed Peisley and Brock Janssen, Head Teacher Wellbeing Jane Walker, School Counsellor Leesa Field and the Student Support Officer Eleisha Krix.
