Finalists in Art Competition

An exhibition of works by Aboriginal high school students from the Macleay Valley have been on exhibition at the Dunghutti-Ngaku Aboriginal Art Gallery (DNAAG).

The works on display by secondary school students from the Macleay Valley were in line with the NAIDOC Week theme of “Heal Country”. The students created works that related to their experience of living on Dunghutti lands. The images include both contemporary and traditional responses to the stories and experiences of the traditional custodians of the land and depictions of the native flora and fauna.
