Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope you are keeping safe and healthy. Unfortunately the term has not started quite as we had hoped - the snap lockdown has meant a swift return to remote learning. We thank families for their flexibility, resilience and support. Well done to our students - your teachers are so proud of how well you are doing. Hang in there - fingers crossed we are able to return to school really soon.

Our teachers have enjoyed meeting with parents via Webex to discuss how students are going. Thank you to everyone involved.

We are hopeful things return to normal soon as this term we have some exciting events planned: NAIDOC Week incursions, Book Week activities, excursions to the Royal Botanical Gardens and the MSO and Grade 6 camp, just to name a few.

The new playground in  Wellington Street remains a work in progress.  There are issues with the ground levels and areas of the concrete base will need to be redone to resolve the problem.  We are hoping to have an update on the completion date for this project soon.

See our Save the Dates page for some fun community and fundraising events coming up. Please also note that Wednesday August 25th will be a student-free day.

We look forward to seeing the children back at school very soon.

Take care and stay safe,

Megan
