STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths)

All of our communities have made great strides in being critical thinkers, problem solvers and collaborative students through this whirlwind Term 2. 

 

The Achilles community have been engaging in a some pretty cool robot building, as well as puzzles during remote learning. When students came back we also looked at different animals that are living and non-living.

 

The Argus and Xenica communities worked well in Term 2, playing games such as Dots and Boxes, and designing their own robots to show the world. Students have also been working on building strong bridges during remote learning, and repurposing items as around the home.

 

The Ulysses community have worked collaboratively to use iMovie to create a short film complete with green screens, voiceovers and background music. They have also been working on playing competitive games such as Kahoots.

 

The Icarus community worked collaboratively to use iMovie to create a short film complete with green screens, voiceovers and background music, with the intention of creating a video about their Inquiry topic in Term 3.
