Mini Olympics

On Friday, 23rd July, the official starting day of the Tokyo Olympics, The Geebungs participated in an Olympic Mufti Day and a class Mini Olympics as part of their Sport program.

The students really got into the spirit of the day, sharing their Olympic memorabilia, their green and gold colours and their positive attitudes as they completed their Mini Olympic events.

The students had to complete eight events remotely. Some of the events were backyard sprints, paper plane making and flying, wheat bag throwing, basketball and netball shots, bike riding and rock, paper and scissors.

Each student is following an Australian Olympian at the Tokyo Olympics and we look forward to cheering on the Aussies as they compete for the coveted gold medals.
