Morning Routine and Expectations
This is a friendly reminder of the importance of being on time in the morning. As we begin curriculum learning, please ensure your child arrives no later than 8:55am at the Ferrars Street door. This ensures we can begin classroom learning at 9:00am on Level 5. For any arrivals after 8:55am please report to the office via the main entrance.
Compass Emails
Compass email is a great tool to contact your child’s class teacher if you have a quick question or message. It should be noted that teachers are unable to check these emails during the school day so if the message is urgent it is best to send a note or call the School Office. Teachers aim to respond to emails within two working days.

Homework
Thank you to our parents for showing such enthusiasm with their child’s learning. As a reminder, please know that Reading Eggs is only to be used at school. We encourage the use of myON for further reading at home.
It is an expectation that students complete one Mathseeds lesson a week for homework using their school account. Your child's username and password will be on the log in page of their diary by Monday the 13th of February.
If you have any further questions regarding this, please reach out to your child’s teacher.
Book Bags and Borrowing Books
It is an expectation that students bring their book bags with their diary each day to school. Each Monday, beginning on the 13th of February, students will be given the opportunity to borrow up to 4 books to take and read at home. The following Monday, students are asked to return the borrowed books.
iPads
In Grade 1 the students have been learning how to use their iPads safely and which apps they may use at home. Please ensure that students are bringing their iPads to school each day fully charged.
