YEAR 12 GRADUATION 2022

The VCE exam period concluded on Wednesday November 16th and the following evening the Year 12 2022 Graduation was held at the San Remo Ballroom in Carlton North. It was fantastic to see our 98 Year 12 graduates all dressed up for the evening to be congratulated by their family, friends and teachers.  Ms. Samantha Panettieri from the class of 2012 was our guest speaker for the evening. I am sure her speech about her journey since graduating from the Academy 10 years ago resonated with many of the students from our 2022 cohort. 

During the evening, each graduate was called to the stage to be individually recognized where she received a gift of jewellery from Sr. Mary. Graduating students also received a certificate, reference and a welcome letter to the Academy Alumni. 

The night was a celebration of the end of the students 13 years of formal schooling; however, the vibe of the evening was a mixed one – one of excitement of what lies ahead but tinged with some sadness as the Year 12s time at the Academy has now come to an end. 

Congratulations to the class of 2022 for a wonderful final year at the Academy – one where they showed the way when it came to reconnecting and rebuilding friendships and relationships after two COVID interrupted years. 

We wish all our Graduates all the best for the future and hope to see many of them back at the Academy in 2023 in mentoring and assistance roles.
