From the Principal's Desk

Dear Parents and Carers

Thank you to the parents and carers and staff in attendance at last night's Community Annual General Meeting. It was great to see many from our College community in attendance.

Please click here and take the time to have a read of my final Principal's Report as Principal of Salvado Catholic College. 

It was great to welcome our Year 7 students for 2023 at Monday's Orientation. Thank you Mr McGrath and the Middle School Staff for your efforts on Monday afternoon and welcoming our new students and families, giving them a small taste of the opportunities they will have next year at SCC. We look forward to welcoming our Kindergarten students for 2023 on Monday 5 December.

Our Year 7 and Year 8 students entertained us yesterday afternoon with an 'Arts Afternoon' on the grass with instruments, singing and dancing. It is wonderful to see our performing arts taking off at Salvado Catholic College and so many students getting involved. Well done and thank you Mrs Rachael Knight for your time and efforts!

We are are looking forward to next week's Primary Christmas Concert on Wednesday 30 November. Please take the time to read more about the evening in the Primary Christmas Concert section. Looking forward to this very popular community event on our College calendar.

Our College Thanksgiving Mass is on Wednesday 7 December @ 9:00am with all our students in the College coming together in the Covered Assembly Space to celebrate and give thanks for all that we have been a part of at Salvado Catholic College in 2022. 

We also have our Year 7 Presentation Night coming up on Tuesday 6 December, celebrating the accomplishments of our Secondary students. Then on Thursday 8 December our Year 6 students come together for a Mass and celebrations as their Primary School journey comes to an end. So much to look forward to!

Thank you for everyone's contribution to the Vinnies Christmas Appeal this year!

Advent commences this Sunday. Advent is the season of preparation and waiting for the celebration of Jesus' birth at Christmas. As we commence the season of Advent, let us stop to reflect on ways we can prepare to celebrate Jesus' birth, and how we can share His love in all that we say and do each day.
