Sarah Minol - Dance Teacher/VET Assistant Dance Teacher

Congratulations to Jenna Cross a Year 12 Dance student from Wyndham College who was selected as a Principal Performer at PULSE ALIVE 2023. From this event Jenna was chosen to take part in the PULSE ALIVE 2023 Far West Tour.

This tour travelled to Broken Hill and Mildura with students participating in performances and workshops with local public schools right across the far west of NSW. Jenna is so lucky to have experienced this wonderful program run by the Department of Education's Arts Unit which allows the expansion and reach of high-quality arts opportunities in NSW Public Schools. We are so proud of Jenna's achievement and congratulate her on her wonderful performances.

We would also like to congratulate

Aaliyah-Jane Thomas Year 12 Dance student from Wyndham College who has again been chosen from a very competitive field to be a member of the 2023 NSW Public Schools Aboriginal Dance Company.

The NSW Public Schools Aboriginal Dance Company is one of The Arts Unit’s specialist programs. It is a highly motivational, elite program that will build skills, knowledge and cultural awareness. Students will work closely with choreographers from the internationally renowned Bangarra Dance Theatre to perform a repertoire for the State Dance Festival and Schools Spectacular. This is an amazing achievement, and we can't wait to see Aaliyah performing later in the year.

Congratulations Aaliyah!!!
