Year 11 is learning about individual Rights and Responsibilities. We began by researching what the Bill of Rights looks like in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand. The students researched some reasons for and against Australia having a Bill of Rights. Lastly, it was time to think of what a Bill of Rights would look like in Australia. Students came up with a list of ten explicit rights they feel would help young people understand the law.
