Wellbeing support for students during school holidays

Anaphylaxis, Allergies, Asthma and other medical conditions

If your child suffers from Asthma, Allergies, Anaphylaxis or other serious medical condition (including significant mental health conditions), it is the responsibility of parents/carers to provide the school with an up-to-date action plan every 12 months.

Parents/carer’s are required to supply their child’s medication and if possible, an up-to-date photo to attach on your child’s plan. If your child’s medical condition has changed since the school was last notified, please inform the school as soon as possible so updates can be made and communicated with school staff.

Allergy/Asthma/Anaphylaxis and medical condition plans are best completed by your local GP who has the most current history for your child. If that’s not possible, families can book an appointment with the Doctor’s In Secondary School Clinic at Red Cliffs Secondary every Thursday. Parents are encouraged to be at their child’s appointments if requesting medical plans to be completed.

Appointments can be made at student reception or phoning the school on 5024 2892.

Meet Eddy

All students had the opportunity recently to write a letter outlining why they should be the first group of students to welcome Eddy to Red Cliffs Secondary College and assist introducing him into the school.

Early this week the students got to finally meet Eddy.  Eddy was super excited and enjoyed all the attention.  Students discussed mini projects such as student led Eddy wellbeing checks, classroom poster designs to help others know if Eddy is relaxing, learning or having independent time.  Students also talked about designing some water bowls to put around the school.  Eddy will start a slow school transition at the beginning of Term 2.
