Eclipse House News

End of Term Two

With Term Two coming to an end, the boys from Eclipse House have a solid understanding of what is required to achieve success and any modifications required on their part to do so. Some students have been impressed with their results and others have realised the need for a much more structured routine of revision and study. I again recommend the use of Academic Support where possible to assist with homework, assignments and exam preparation.

The house continues to buzz with excitement and energy, especially with an average of 65 sporting trips per week this term, as well as the bulk of students attending Country Week.

There have been some fantastic evenings with all of the supervisors, from Monday evening muffins and laundry assistance with Mrs Spinks, to Friday night football, with in-house dining and brownies with Mrs Marmion. Rarely is there a night without great banter and pool competitions or venturing to the Senior Girls’ house for a dance off on the Wii console.

Everyone has had a rather action-packed and busy term and I wish them and you a relaxing break as we head into Term Three.
