From the Assistant Principal

From Mrs Hopkins' office....

Miss Roxie Hopkins (our Wellbeing Consultant) has been receiving lots of fan mail and heartfelt invitations lately. One such invitation arrived from Lucas in 3/4J today and what beautiful use of language!  This week we were also thrilled when one of our young writers independently wrote a brilliant narrative inspired by Roxie herself. Well done Daniel from 1/2A for such a wonderful piece of writing! Daniel tells me he feels "Really really good" about his writing and so he should!!! Roxie's ability to bring out the best in all of us continues to amaze and inspire me. Her cheeky puppy antics are a matter of amusement as well, but who doesn't need a smile in their day after all!

Roxie says "Wooooooof, Daniel and Lucas you are stars!!"

2020 Classes

It is so difficult to believe but we are already well into our planning for 2020 but we certainly are. A big thank you must go to our amazing teams who put so many hours into making sure that our students are placed in the best place for them to thrive next year. Taking into consideration personalities, academic needs and social connections as well as groups of children that can be enabled and extended in just the right way is definitely a complex process but as a mother and educator I always admire our staff for the thoroughness and care with which they complete this task.

Students will be finding out their new classes in the last week of term and enjoying a morning in their new classroom getting to know their classmates and teachers. It is always an exciting way to end our year.

We are kind. We are resilient. We are respectful.
