Foundation

The Rangeview annual Harry Hat Man Parade certainly lived up to its expectations! The Foundation students proudly and loudly paraded through the entire school visiting all classes to show off their hats.

Music News: The Foundation students have been engaging with a range of instruments, including the percussion instruments they played with vigour during the Harry Hat Man Parade. Their 5/6 buddies have been learning how to play the ukulele, and are in the process of visiting all their Buddy classes to perform for them.

Community News

On Thursday 13th March members of Victoria Police visited all Foundation classes to discuss how they serve our community. The children tried on Police Uniforms whilst taking a close up look at a real Police vehicle! The officers turned on their lights and sirens much to the delight of the children!

Sports News

All Foundation students are participating in SEDA Cricket Clinics on Friday mornings over a four week period. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to develop their fine and gross motor skills whilst learning how to engage with others as part of a sporting team.

Thank you to all parents who diligently drop off and pick up their child at the designated line up spot. It is certainly making a difference during the morning and afternoon rush and congestion in our hallways.

All the best,

Miss Bonte, Miss Clarke, Ms Wilson, Mrs Goulding and Mrs Tzimos – Foundation Team.
