Congratulations Amy Bachmann

Over the holidays Amy Bachmann competed at the Australian Youth Dressage Championships in Sydney. She competed on Silverdene Pharaoh (Bounce) in the FEI Junior Class. On the first day she won the FEI Junior Team Test with 71.263% and on the second day  won the FEI Junior Individual Test with a 67.441%. That means that she won the overall FEI Junior Championship. I also competed in the Medium and placed third and seventh. 

 

Amy also received a place on the Victorian High Performance Dressage Squad. She attended the Victorian Young Ambassador Weekend and is in the top three for dressage with the winner to be announced this Saturday at the Equestrian Victoria Awards night. I am also the Dressage Captain for the Victorian Team at Interschool Nationals this year.

Elmore Interschool Event

During the holidays the Girton Equestrian team competed in the Elmore Interschool Event. 

Girton Juniors came 2nd place in the teams.

 

Leah Pickering took out first in both dressage tests and won the championship. She also won games and handymount! She came fifth in ridden show hunter, fourth in her rider class and fifth in led show hunter with fifth overall in the show championship. She placed fourth in the individual riders out of about 56 riders.

 

Charlotte came third and equal fifth in dressage tests with third in the championship. She came fourth in handymount, third in games, second in show pony, first in her rider class, second in led pony and second overall in showing championship. She was ranked 13th individual out of about 56 riders.

 

Caroline Batters came equal fifth in a dressage test, she got sixth in her show hunter, rider and led classes and sixth overall in show championship.

 

Eva Kruger placed fourth in the games.

 

Bronte Kelly placed 1st and 3rd in the preliminary dressage and won the reserve champion in the dressage championship.

 

Bronte was also lovely lending the little ones browbands and calling tests for them all weekend.
