MATHS

This week, we have started our new Maths unit on addition and subtraction. We had to be very strategic whilst practising our adding in this game of Tic-Tac-Toe. 

ANZAC DAY

In Juniors, Term 2 has started off with learning about ANZAC Day. The Juniors have learnt lots of interesting facts about ANZAC Day, including, what date it falls on, why it is such an important day to celebrate and the significance of both the ANZAC Biscuit and the Poppy. Each student was asked to write their favourite fact on a piece of card which are now on display in the classroom. In addition to this, the Juniors engaged in a ‘Poppy Art’ task where they each drew a quarter of a poppy petal and used oil pastels to make it pop.
