Community Engagement

New Staff

We have had a number of new staff join us this term, some on short term replacement contracts and others as ongoing. We welcome Ms Jacqui Duong, Ms Jaimee Pezzutti and Ms Jaime Brown.

Reach Out Community (ROC) and Interact Join Forces

Aitken’s Got Talent has always been a very popular ROC event. This year, it is being supported by our Interact Services Club who will be using the night as a fundraiser for Beyond Blue which provides information and support to help everyone in Australia achieve their best possible mental health.

This year’s event will be held on Thursday, 12 May in the CPA commencing at 6.30pm. Families are invited to gather together in the foyer from 5.30pm for a shared cup of tea/coffee or juice for the children, and chat before the show starts.

All are welcome but you are encouraged to register your free seats at https://www.trybooking.com/BZHXW. A gold coin donation will be collected at the door.

Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat

This year is 20 years since the first Aitken College Musical was held. I would like to get in touch with students and staff who were involved in this momentous effort. We are hoping to offer a reunion event to coincide with this year’s College Musical. If you were involved in this production, I invite you to get in touch at mcooper@aitkencollege.edu.au
