Year 10 Students

Term 2 is an important and exciting term in the Year 10 Careers calendar. Lots of preparation takes place to assist students so that they are able to make wise decisions in Term 3 for 2023 and beyond. Careers staff deliver two Careers classes during Life Skills lessons in Term 2 where students learn about the VCE and VCE Vocational Major programs, subject selection and useful careers resources.

Year 10 students completed the Morrisby Online program today. This program can assist students to discover more about themselves and help drive their career planning. It is an opportunity for self discovery and reflection and provides the chance for students to think about their strengths and abilities, while exploring potential career options, giving them the confidence to start taking control of their future. A letter about Morrisby Online has been emailed to Year 10 parents.

Year 10 - 12 Students

The Victorian Careers Show 2022 is smaller than the VCE and Careers Expo but worth a visit none the less. This event offers students information about, and resources for, the VCE and the future. Exhibitors include universities, TAFE and training colleges, organisations with apprenticeship and employment opportunities. Information is also available about international exchange and GAP year programs, study and career advice. The Expo will take place on Friday 13 May and Saturday 14 May in Pavilion 1 at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds and is another good starting point for students who are commencing their career exploration journey and looking for inspiration and information.
