| Reading | Week 8 & 9 - We will be exploring a range of texts that include sounds and heart words as part of our Little Learners Love Literacy program. Students will participate in a range of reading activities that will support them in developing their comprehension skills and phonological awareness. |
| Writing | Week 8 & 9- Students will explore narrative writing and use digital technology to create a short narrative. Students will also be looking at conjunctives and how they can incorporate them into their writing. |
| Maths | Week 8 and 9 - Students will be using a range of strategies to solve subtraction number stories. Students will also begin to explore chance and describe chance using everyday language. |
| Inquiry | Week 8 & 9 - Students will continue to explore important people and places in the community, their own community and in our school community. |
| SEL | Week 8 & 9 - We will spend 15 minutes each day exploring how to communicate your feelings with others and using manners when communicating your needs to others. |

- All readers need to be returned this Friday the 16th June for sorting ready for Term 3.
- Please sign your child's reading log (located at the back of their phonics book) every night.
- Please remember to return your books on your class's assigned library day.
