Junior School

Our Year 4 students will participate in a First Holy Communion Retreat, ‘Invited to the Table’. The days seek to build upon the understanding that Baptism draws us into God’s family, where we are supported in Faith. The children will explore how the Sacrament draws us closer to God and one another, which paves the way for us to enter into Thanksgiving through encountering Christ in the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

Our Junior School students participate in PSA training on Wednesday mornings. The training sessions offer skill development, foster team cohesion and camaraderie among players and enhance fitness levels. If your son cannot attend a training, please message the class teacher.

The Junior School is spending time teaching and developing students’ organisational skills as it plays a significant role in their academic success and overall personal development. Organisational skills help students manage their time effectively and improve productivity. When students are organised, they can work more efficiently and complete tasks on time. Being organised reduces stress. When students have a clear plan of action and know what needs to be done, they feel more in control of their responsibilities, decreasing anxiety and allowing them to approach tasks with a calm and focused mindset.

Recycled Art Competition 2023

“Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines”.

An incredible array of flying machines, creatively made from various recycled materials, were entered into this year’s Junior School Art Competition.

The entries were expertly judged by Mrs Jasmin Kenworthy (Junior School Principal), Mr David Penco and Mrs Kath Licciardello (Trinity College Environment Committee) and Mr Dayne Whelan (Head of Maintenance). Each judge looked for innovative ways in which recycled/reused materials had been repurposed into a flying machine to become a work of Art!

Congratulations to our joint First Place Winners - Ethan Reid, Year 6, and Samir Munshi, Year 4, and to our Third Place Winner - Mitchell Borman, Year 6.

Thank you to all our amazing entrants for some very clever and entertaining interpretations, our judges for graciously giving up their time to vote, and our Art Technician, Kyron Milosavljevic, for his wonderful display of the works.
