House Points

In week 4 we had a double house point day! This means that any house points received gets doubled! This had an interesting effect with Starling winning the chocolates. Then the following week it was back to back chocolates but Lecky were the lucky ones.

Grandparents Morning Its been a family theme at Officer Primary School over the past few weeks with our whole school events. In week 4 it was our grandparents morning tea! We had a great turn out and we loved seeing our proud students show their loved ones around the school as well as taking a visit to the book fair. These special days are always a highlight on our school calendar and shows what a connected loving community we have!

This fortnight our SRC students have extended their responsibilities by scanning the yard after recess and lunch and returning any sports equipment that is left out. We also spoke about creating a fundraiser for a chosen charity at some point this term. Our reps brainstormed the charities that they believed needed some support and they then conducted votes within the classrooms! Students will be able to come to school in free dress by supplying a gold coin donation that will go directly to the most popular cause, which was …. the RSPCA! The date for this will be Friday 16th of June! There will be more information distributed in the coming weeks.
