Discover the World of Languages

The Victorian School of Languages is a government school. It is committed to the provision of language programs for students in years Foundation to 12 who do not have access to the study of those languages in the mainstream schools in all education sectors. The school offers over forty languages through both face to face teaching in centres across the state and through distance education. 

 

The Victorian School of Languages has established a centre in Ballarat which is located at: Ballarat High School, Sturt St West and offers the following languages: Chinese, French, German and Japanese for students in Years F-10. Classes are held on Thursday nights between 4.30pm and 7.30pm and in order to assist with course costs a small annual charge applies: $80.00 for Years F to 10.
