What's Been Happening? 

Virtual Reality (VR) Roadshow

Last Tuesday we held a special free incursion for our Year 1 to 10 students. Airborne IT flew up from Perth to run a Virtual Reality exhibition. Students were able to see a ‘Solar System Theatrical Tour Through the Universe’ and  ‘the Underwater Blue Whale and Coral Reef Including Jellyfish Experience’ using the amazing Oculus VR headsets.

2021 Kindy Orientation

In week 7, eight of our 2021 Kindy students attended their Kindy Orientation. Their teacher, Mrs Lamond, and the EA's Mrs Melville and Mrs Shadbolt were on hand to assist the children as they interacted with each other and their 2021 Pre-Primary peers and participated in different activities. The students were very excited and enjoyed their time at school! We look forward to having them with us next year!

Year 9/10 Try-A-Trade

In week 8, six of our Year 9 and 10 students participated in the Try-A-Trade program in Merredin. The program ran for three days, and the students had the opportunity to learn new skills in bricklaying, carpentry and welding. Check out our student, Murray Cosh's handiwork in welding!
