SCHOOL PRODUCTION 2021 

Welcome back to our XANADU fans! 

2021 will see the Lilydale High School Production of XANADU, continue with new cast members joining our returning 2020 cast for shows this JULY!

Auditions were held in Week 2 and saw a great amount of talent from all Years 7 to 12 students singing, dancing and acting their hearts out. Our production team were so overwhelmed with talent and in excitement, sent out the cast of our show to Compass with great joy.

Thank you to all students who auditioned. Whilst we would love to cast all students, our stage can only hold a limited amount. We encourage all to audition again or to pop their hand up to be involved in production roles as we get closer to July.

Students in the cast met Week 3, to go through dates, expectations and all things production before the big day on Thursday, where they "rolled” into their first cast rehearsal, singing the ELO classic opening number from the show, “I’m Alive!”

Below are all the important dates sent home with our cast, as well as their first rehearsal schedule (updated to Week 7, with a new schedule released the beginning of Week 6). 

The production team will be reaching out to students interested in being involved in backstage roles, closer to showtime in Term 2.
