NAIDOC WEEK Activities in the holidays

NAIDOC Week is July 3 to 10. There are many family events happening to join in with during the holidays.

On July 10, head down to Fed Square for a day filled with live performances from leading Aboriginal musicians and entertainers, storytelling sessions by Aboriginal elders, arts and crafts activities and food tasting from First Nations-owned restaurants.

NAIDOC Week Free Dress Day Tuesday 11th July

On the Tuesday of the first week of term 3 the Fire Carrier leaders have planned that we will raise money for the Open The Doors Foundation. The Opening the Doors Foundation is an Aboriginal-led community organisation supporting educational opportunities for Aboriginal children. The Foundation enables Aboriginal students to participate fully and equally in education. On the Tuesday children can come to school in free dress in the colours of the Indigenous flag (red, yellow and black) and bring a gold coin donation.

School Crossing

Just another shout out. Please remember to be great role models for our students and use the crossing with our wonderful crossing supervisor Alex when crossing Marwal Ave.

À bientôt, see you next term.
