Alumnae High Tea

Over 100 alumnae joyfully reunited for the Annual High Tea and Mass on Sunday 21 May 2023 - the largest attendance since this format was introduced. The Spirit of Cor Unum was high as alumnae spanned the Class of 2022 to the Class of 1950, an impressive 72 years out of School.

Reunions were held for the Classes of 1953, 1963 and 1973 who were all well represented. They had a wonderful catch up with some alumnae not having seen each other since they walked out the School gates.

Lifelong Friends

Denise Donovan (Coleman) and Francoise Mapleback (Dupuche) assisted at the Mass by doing the Offertory Procession. They were celebrating their 1953 Reunion and have been strong friends since their days at Sacré Cœur, including being bridesmaids for each other and both working as physiotherapists.  A true lifelong Sac friendship!

Generations at the High Tea

It is such a delight when family generations are able to gather together at the High Tea. Mother and daughter Mary Coghlan (Phillips 1959) and Katie Riddell (Coghlan 1989) are pictured together below. Katie's daughter, Sophie has also started at Sacré Cœur in Year 7 this year so their family tradition continues.

Class of 2022

How wonderful to see so many of the Class of 2022 attend their first event back at school as Alumnae. We hope it is the beginning of a long connection with each other and Sacré Cœur.

Their Year 12 Year Level Co-ordinator Anna Straford, is pictured with them below.
