First Reconciliation

Congratulations to Thea, Evie, Frank and Hannah who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time on Wednesday 28 June. It was wonderful to see how excited and reverent they were and how beautifully they read. It was also lovely that so many family members and staff were able to be there to support the students on their special day. A special thank you to Father Curran for a beautiful celebration. We look forward to celebrating Alice’s first Reconciliation with her next term.

First Eucharist

Our Parish is celebrating the Sacrament of First Eucharist on Sunday 30 July 10.00am. Please keep in your prayers the children who are currently preparing to celebrate their special sacrament.

Living Well, Learning Well

Our Pastoral Care Approach to Supporting Faith, Learning and Wellbeing

Legends of the Light Shine

Our Legends of the Light Shine focus for Weeks 1 and 2 is persistence. Persistence is an important life skill that we encourage our students to develop. Being persistent at learning a task that is difficult especially when success doesn’t come easily or to continue to stand up for what is right are examples of when we are all called on to show persistence in life. In religion our students are focusing on units that teach us about Mary and the saints, all of whom showed persistence in their lives.

Celebrating Laudato Si’

Today we celebrated Laudato Si’. Our day began with a beautiful Mass followed by environmentally friendly activities in our Legends of the Light Shine groups. This day is a celebration of our keen focus on working together to Care for the Earth, our common home. Activities included upcycling jars to make candle holders, upcycling plastic bottles to create wind twirlers, using creation in art and prayer.

“Let Your Light Shine” support others to let their light shine and remember “We Shine Brighter Together”
