Looking after your wellbeing during the holidays
We are officially halfway through 2023! As the temperatures drop and the days get shorter many students are eagerly anticipating the winter break. School holidays are a great chance to take a break, reconnect with friends, hobbies and family (and sure, the sleep-in are a nice bonus too!). While it can be tempting to let go of routines over the holidays, maintaining some momentum, or even using the extra time to set some goals for yourself can be really beneficial.
Students might like to explore the Fabulous! app to help build physically and mentally healthy routines. For those who need some further support This Way Up offers a range of evidence-based programs to support young people feeling stressed, sad or anxious. You can check out this comprehensive list from Reach Out for many other health and wellbeing apps that can help you get started.
