EISM Competition Roundup
We finished a very busy term of EISM competition with both our EISM Athletics Carnivals held at Lakeside Stadium in Albert Park and our House Cross Country at school this term to select students for the EISM Cross Country on Wednesday 6 September.
Our Seniors (Year 10 to 12) will continue their current EISM season in Term 3 with Semi Finals and Grand Finals taking place mid to end of August. Year 8s and 9s completed their Summer Season with the Boys and Girls Basketball A teams playing in the Semi Finals and the Girls Basketball B team finishing Runners Up in the Grand Finals. Congratulations to all our Year 8s and 9s for your participation in Term 1 and 2 and the way you represented the College!

The Year 8 and 9 students have been acknowledged for their participation in the EISM Summer Season during a special Sport Assembly on Thursday 15 June in the Stadium. Coaches were given the opportunity to hand the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Best Team Player (BTP) medals to their teams. Congratulations to the following students who received medals.

The Year 7s Term 2 season finished this week on Monday 19 June with their last round. They will only have one day for trials on their first day back next term before their Term 3 competition starts on Monday 24 July.
The EISM Cross Country will take place on Wednesday 6 September at Ruffey Lake Park in Doncaster East. Selected students for this event are strongly encouraged to prepare themselves for participation on that day. Please come and talk to me on how to prepare yourself for the Cross Country. I wish you all a great semester break and looking forward to seeing you all back in Term 3.
Matilda makes Selection Again
Congratulations to Matilda H (10.3) who again has been selected for the Eastern Football Netball League’s (EFNL) U/15 Girls Division 1 Football team. According to a statement from the EFNL, the calibre of players through the EFNL this year is extremely high and everyone that trialled should be very proud of their efforts.
Matilda is well known for her passion and commitment to footy, but always very modest in her achievements and we wish her all the best for the 2023 series.
