Welcome back new International Students!

It has been so lovely to welcome back new International students to EDSC. When I picked them up at the airport I almost had tears in my eyes because we hadn’t been able to do this for two years. 

We have since had an orientation lunch and celebrated the Spring Festival Lunar New Year together where we provided Red Packets with candy and chocolate. We enjoyed Japanese sushi and gyoza for Lunar new year lunch and Korean Fried Chicken boxes at Orientation. The Principal team also greeted the students as did some other staff which added to the warm atmosphere.

The students are settling in well and making friends. We have a diverse group of recent arrivals from China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar. Our theme this year is “Never Give Up!”
