S-Factor

Staughton’s very own music competition, The S-factor, took place at lunch times throughout week 4 and 5.
We had multiple singers participate in this year's comp, who put on fabulous performances for the teachers and students.
The heats were electric, with the crowd loving the range of acts.
Some nervous performers built up their courage to put on a great show, with some new faces showing up to entertain the crowd. A big shout out to the Year 7s that got up and performed so early in their time here.
The following week, it was time for the Grand Final. Unfortunately we had two performers that had to pull out of the final, Georgia Tietze and Jada Geddes, but a huge congratulations to them for making it.
And congratulations to the 3 Finalists that performed on the day, Ivy Nielsen, Vee Hart, and the band, The Business Men.
However, there can only be one winner.
After much deliberation and debate between the judges, it was declared that the band, The Business Men, with their rendition of Thunderstruck, would take out the top spot.
A big thank you to Mr Schembri, Mr Hart, the judges and students who were a part of the show and were able to make the S Factor possible. Thanks to everyone that came down and were part of a supportive and excellent audience.
We can’t wait for more musical events throughout the year.
