K/PP & Year 1/2  Dress Up Day

This term our lower Primary classes have been exploring the world of fairytales and nursery rhymes. Today was their celebration of all things Fairytale, and they were able to come to school dressed in character! We had queens and kings, knights, pirates, Little Red Riding Hood and big bad wolves. The kids enjoyed the hands-on themed learning of today's event, and we thank Mr G and Mrs Lamond for another successful day. 

Special thanks to our Student Councillors and Big Buddies for their leadership in running groups, Abi Farina for the delicious cupcakes and to Ellen Maddock for the donation of eggs for Humpty Dumpty STEM activity.

PBS Reward

In week 7 our students had their mid-term ‘Positive Behaviour Reward’ for earning 50 points for the first half of the term. Many of the kids suggested that they would love a play at the new Mukinbudin Shire Lions Park for their reward - so that’s what we did! The kids had a wonderful time and were thoroughly rewarded for being fabulous at school this term!! 

Our end-of-term reward has also been decided from suggestions made by the kids - we will be having an afternoon of ‘Minute to Win-It’ games and activities with students versus staff from Year 1 - 12 in Week 10 and our K/PP students will be having a donut decorating afternoon. Keep encouraging your kids to work hard and earn their points so they get to participate.
