Principal's Update

As the end of term draws ever closer, I wanted to take this opportunity to highlight the outstanding staff that we have at our school. Our staff have worked tirelessly this term to prepare engaging and effective learning programs for their students, but on top of this they have been navigating COVID restrictions, ever changing guidelines and preparation for a Public School Review. Our team have taken this in their stride and still delivered fantastic experiences for our kids. 

On Tuesday we received our Public School Review Report. This document highlights where our school is currently at, including the wonderful things that are already happening and some recommendations on what to focus on moving forward. All the recommendations listed in the document were areas that we had identified during our self-review and have commenced working on. If you would like to read our review, you can find it on the school's website under the 'Our School' tab in the publications section.

At present we are finalising staffing arrangements for Term 2. Once positions are confirmed, we will notify the community through our various channels. Keep an eye out!

Finally, if you have not yet connected to your child's journal on Seesaw, please contact the office. You are missing out on classroom information and insight into your child's school learning. Feedback from those parents and caregivers utilising the Seesaw platform is that it is user friendly, easy to navigate and enjoyable to view. 

As this will be the last newsletter for the term, please have a restful and relaxing break and we look forward to seeing students back at school on Tuesday 26th April.
