Being Well at Magill

Welcome to Magill School - Pastoral Care Worker                                          Donna Kingston

At Magill School we are lucky to have a team of staff to support students with their wellbeing needs. We are delighted to welcome Donna Kingston to the Wellbeing team in the role of Pastoral Care Worker. Magill School has a great history of working in collaboration with our PCW, previously Catherine Edson held this role and was with our school community for over 5 years. As Cat moved on to take up a career in teaching, this left us with an opportunity to bring someone new into the role.

Donna had previously volunteered at Magill School as a Mentor for our students, and jumped at the opportunity to be a part of our school community on a more permanent basis. Donna will be working with students on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Below is a short introduction from Donna herself, if you see her in the yard please say hello and give her a big Magill School welcome.

My name is Donna Kingston and I am a Pastoral Care Worker. It is my great pleasure to be able to be a part of the wellbeing team at Magill  School. I am married with five children (including two with a disability), and have nine grandchildren. It brings me joy to care for children and adults around me in a holistic (physical, mental, spiritual, relational and cultural) way to see them flourish and grow in their own individual ways. I am here at Magill on Wednesdays 9:00am - 3:00pm and Thursdays 8:30am - 1.30pm.
