Student Artwork
Year 9 Visual Art Photorealism Task
The Year 9 Art students have explored photorealism using graphite pencils. The students were given the topic ‘Cropped Technology’ to interpret and create a visual artwork at home. The task focused on developing each student’s skills in manipulating tone, proportion and scale. The cohort have created some outstanding work from this task!
Year 8 Contour Line Drawing Task
The Year 8 Art students have successfully explored positive and negative space through still life drawings. The students learnt how to arrange a variety of objects, found in their homes, to create a composition that demonstrated depth, dimension and scale. The students then created a contour line drawing of their arrangement from observation and applied ‘Zentangle’ patterns to the background.
