Instrumental Music

Along with student’s weekly music lesson, students have begun rehearsing in their ensembles. 

Students rehearse once a week during recess or lunchtimes.

Rehearsal times are on compass along with lessons. Each ensemble is conducted by the specialist teacher for the area. 

Year 7 brass and woodwind students are not starting ensemble rehearsals until Term 3, as they are still developing their playing technique.

Year 8 Performing Arts

The Year 8's have been working on Non-Naturalism and last week they created a series of episodes based on historical events in history. For example, Covid 19 and Apollo 11 to name a few. I am very proud of their efforts in rehearsals and coming up with some creating ways of performing their ideas.
