Welcome to 3-25

As part of our Science unit, year 3 students have been exploring and investigating the topic of Feathers, Fur and Leaves. 

During home learning we visited our backyards and on site we explored the school grounds, looking for things to classify as either living or non-living. 

1. We used our environmental code of conduct to ensure habitats were respected. (Photo 1)
2. Back in the classroom we investigated definitions for living and non-living.(Photo 2)
3. Online presentations helped us with our sorting. (Photo 3)
4. Checklists helped us to consolidate our understanding. (Photo 4)
5. Pictures of plants, animals and rocks were part of our discussions.(Photo 5)
