Free counselling support for 12 to 25-year-oldsEveryone needs a little extra support sometimes. We're offering Counselling and Youth Work Support for 12 to 25-year-olds who live, work and/or study in Kingston. There is no need for a mental health care plan and sessions are provided free at our new Platform 81 HQ in Mordialloc.
Our youth work team can also link you with other specialist services in the area if needed.
Parent Information NightsWe're bringing back our popular online zoom Parent Information Nights.Our first guest speaker for 2021 is Dr Michael Carr-Gregg presenting his popular talk on Surviving and Thriving Year 12. After a stressful school year this will be a great talk to help VCE students and parents learn some helpful strategies. Register here for the online presentation on Tuesday 23 February at 6.30pm

Each week cooking boxes with a recipe card and core ingredients will be home delivered so you can join our Youth Workers online and cook up a storm together. FReeZa Fuse Productions CrewThe FReeZa Fuse Productions Crew supports and promotes local young musos through a range of events throughout the year. Do you have a passion for music and are keen to develop new skills, build networks in the music industry and make community connections - then you could be perfect to join the team. No specialist skills or experience needed so long as you are aged 12-25 and live, work or study in Kingston. Sign me up! #Adulting 101 online modulesTransitioning from the teenage years to adulthood can be challenging. But we have your back thanks to our free #Adulting101 online modules. Queer in KingstonQueer in Kingston (QIK) is a social support program for ages 12-17 who identify as queer or are questioning their gender and/or sexuality. QIK meets weekly during school terms for a range of fun activities either at our Platform 81 HQ in Mordialloc or out and about. QIK allows young queer people to discover who they are, have some fun and make some friends. QIK provides a safe and supportive space for young queer people to explore their queer identity without judgement.Sign up today Creating a safe, supportive networkConnect is a LGBTQIA+ program for 18-25 years olds who identify as queer or are questioning their gender and/or sexuality and live, work or study in the City of Kingston. Connect members meet fortnightly over a beverage at a local café in the City of Kingston or at Platform 81, located in Mordialloc. The meetups provide an opportunity for young queer people to expand their rainbow network in a manner that is safe and accepting.Let us know if you're interested in joining
Free short courses to help your job huntWe're helping young people overcome barriers to employment, particularly those caused by the changing environment and current economic climate.Kingston Youth Services is offering a series of fully-funded accredited short courses to help support young people on the job hunt. Let us know if you'd like to take part. Calling young entrepreneursWe're looking for young business owners and entrepreneurs aged 12-25 to participate in our Maker Workshops. Young entrepreneurs will share their skills including how to set up a small business, create or design goods, manage an online business and run social media pages. You will also get the chance to promote and sell goods/services to the the Kingston Youth Services network.
