Level Crossing Removal Works

A Message from the Level Crossing Removal Project:

Trains are up and running again on the Frankston line after undertaking works for our Edithvale, Chelsea and Bonbeach project.

We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we worked to resolve the issue.

We’ll continue to prepare the area and rail corridor for the new rail trench.

Over the next month, we will continue piling foundations for the new stations and rail trench and relocating utilities.

As part of these of works, Station Street will be closed to traffic between Edithvale Road and Fraser Avenue from 7am Monday 15 February to 6pm Wednesday 31 March. Station Street traffic will be diverted to Nepean Highway via Edithvale Road and Swanpool Avenue.

• Station Street, changed traffic conditions from Aspendale to Bonbeach until late 2021
   
• Nepean Highway, lane closures from Aspendale to Bonbeach until late 2021
   
• Monica Avenue, York Street, Nepean Highway and Station Street, Bonbeach, various lane closures, car parking and access changes until late 2021
   
• Bus Routes 706 (to Mordialloc) and 902 (to Airport West) will not service selected bus stops until early 2022

There will be impacts to pedestrian crossings in Edithvale, Chelsea and Bonbeach until late 2021.
