Library News

The Premier’s Reading Challenge concludes this Friday 30th August.  Please ensure your child’s books have been entered before this date.  Don’t hesitate to contact me if you are having difficulties entering the information.

The Scholastic Book Fair has wrapped up for another year.  We had 34 boxes turn up this year! A huge thank you to the families who very kindly donated books to the library.  There were some fantastic titles to choose from this year and your donation is very much appreciated.

There were so many fantastic costumes again this year that all the judges found it very hard to choose just 2 winners from each grade!  The effort that students (and carers!) and teachers went to was amazing.

Books with Buddies followed the Book Parade.  During the rotations students were broken up into groups and would listen to teachers read them a story for about 10 minutes before moving onto the next rotation.  We had a number of Year 9 and 10 students offer to read a story to the groups as well.  It takes a lot of courage for students to read to a group of their peers so well done!

Congratulations to the winners:
