REFLECTION

This Sunday is Palm Sunday. The beginning of Holy Week. The Gospel this Sunday is extraordinary as it details the events of Christ’s Passion and Death.

It is a long story detailing events beginning at Jesus triumphant entrance into the city of Jerusalem through his last supper with his apostles, detailing his arrest, torture and execution at the hands of the Roman soldiers. It’s a little long for our newsletter purposes however I would encourage you to read it, at the following link. And perhaps imagine you are hearing the story for the first time?

I can also recommend the Stations of the Cross, hosted by Trinity College in our town’s beautiful Botanical Gardens from 11:00 a.m. on Good Friday as an enjoyable and thought provoking half hour to mark the Easter season.
