Year 10 Excursion

On 16 March, students studying Further Science, in Year 10, had an opportunity to experience the program Road to Zero that is offered by Melbourne Museum.

My experience was really good, partly because my partner and I won a goodie bag, but also because every single activity was either challenging or really fun and educational as I expected and hoped. One of my favourites was the elevator simulation, where they simulated the impact that different speeds on the road can have on our bodies. It felt like I was genuinely falling down from an 11 story building because of all the screens surrounding me. It was a really an immersive experience.

There were informative sessions where the guide taught us about their cause, Road to Zero. I am confident we will reach the goal of zero deaths on the road as programs like these are educating us for the future.
