 The Teddy Bear Sleepover! 

This week, just gone, Year 1 students invited their favourite Teddy Bear to join them at school to participate in a Teddy Bear Sleepover! The students and teachers had no idea that once they tucked their Teddy Bears in and said goodnight, that the Teddy Bears would begin to have some fun!

Students and teachers returned to school the next day to see that the Teddy Bears had got up to some mischief!

Students had an opportunity to participate in activities related to the fun their Teddy Bears got up to, including writing recounts from their toy's perspective and rich Maths tasks. The learning tasks requires the students to put into practice skills and knowledge taught through the InitiaLit program. This term has had our students continue to build upon their sound and word knowledge from Term 1.
