TheirCare- Out of School Hours Care

We have had a fantastically fun fortnight at before and after school care! The theme for Week two was: “Move it or lose it!”. The children were encouraged to participate in a wide range of physical activities including making their own obstacle courses, kicking the footy, throwing frisbees, running a few laps to earn some extra popcorn for afternoon tea, indoor ten pin bowling on the rainy days and cold mornings, and probably the most popular of the activities was playing ping pong on our new full-sized table tennis table!

In Week three our theme was: “Happy Chefs!”. The children at after school care went through many kilograms of apples this week using our apple peeler and slinky making machine. We also enjoyed rolling up our sleeves and mixing cookie dough to bake some really yummy choc-chip biscuits. The children loved cooking these devilishly delicious snacks so much we’ve decided to do bake something different each week from now on!
