Gardening with Rotary

Last week our Yr 9/10 Advance class assisted The Rotary Club of Beaufort with the planting of Daffodil bulbs around the traffic islands, along the length of Park Road in Beaufort. In an effort to add to the towns already beautiful scenery, students spent several classes working on the plantings, however they won't get to see the fruits of their labour until August, when Daffodils usually come into bloom. Thank you on behalf of B.S.C. to all students involved in the process, this is a great community initiative led by Rotary.

Community Assistance

We are pleased to announce our two newest Bendigo Bank Young Directors, Ethan Page and Jaz Tiley. Over the next two years, Ethan and Jaz's roles will involve them participating in local board meetings and providing a voice for today's youth. This opportunity provides our students with hands on, real life experience that will benefit them immensely in years to come. B.S.C. would like to thank Ethan and Jaz for stepping up and taking on this responsibility on behalf of our school. We would also like to thank the Bendigo Bank Beaufort Branch, for offering these positions to our students.
